Six ambulances and four passenger cars, thanks to the activities of the Future Power Foundation, were to be donated to Ukraine and carry medical aid there. Unfortunately, an arsonist in Radlow in the Tarnów district nullified part of the effort by setting fire to two ambulances. One was completely destroyed, while the other was severely damaged.
Police have arrested an arsonist. The news prompted an immediate response. The destroyed ambulance was replaced with another. The decision to donate the ambulance was made by the management of the district hospital in New Market. - We will donate a fully operational transport ambulance from our resources. In addition, we will perform all necessary maintenance - this equipment will certainly be heavily used in Ukraine. Ukrainian medical personnel are now facing situations and work that are even hard to imagine. The hospital in New Market expresses solidarity with our counterparts on the Ukrainian side. We are with you. Let this ambulance be a confirmation of that," said Marek Wierzba, director of the Nowy Targ hospital. Falck has so far donated a total of 32 fully-equipped ambulances from its European resources to the struggling Ukraine.
