Helping Ukraine - 30 ambulances have just arrived in Poland
Together with our Danish colleagues, we are donating 30 fully equipped ambulances to Ukraine. "Falck is donating 30 ambulances to Ukraine and neighboring countries, where the ambulances will be part of local emergency services and handling injured Ukrainian citizens and refugees.
On Friday, 60 volunteer firefighters, ambulance rescue workers from Falck will take the ambulances to Poland, where they will be handed over to local emergency services.After close dialogue with Danish emergency services, Falck has decided to donate 30 ambulances to help the injured in the war zone and troubled areas in and around Ukraine. The ambulance column is expected to leave Denmark on Friday, March 4, with arrival in Poland scheduled for Friday night or early Saturday morning. 60 volunteers from the fire, ambulance and Falck aid organizations will transport the ambulances from Denmark to Lublin in southeastern Poland.
Most of the ambulances will be handed over to local authorities here, while Falck employees from Poland ensure that seven ambulances will be transported onward to Moldova, where they will be part of local emergency services.
