Falck Medycyna is the disposer, contracted by the National Health Fund, of Medical Transport Teams. The ZTM performs services when it is necessary to transport a Patient between providers who provide guaranteed benefits for hospital treatment, for the following conditions:

1) respiratory failure requiring artificial ventilation.
2) cardiovascular failure.
3) conditions requiring surgical intervention and after surgery.
4) others (e.g., seizures).

The Medical Transport Team has an ambulance equipped in accordance with the PN-EN 1789 standard, with a minimum of two people authorized to perform medical rescue activities. Thanks to the modern transport ventilators that Falck Medycyna ambulances have, we are able to properly protect the patient during respiratory therapy.

Implementation of these benefits includes transportation and provision of health care services by the Medical Transport Team, in particular, in case of necessity:

1) Immediately perform the procedure at another provider.
2) to maintain continuity of treatment with another provider.

In medically justified cases, it is the responsibility of the entity ordering the transport to provide medical care during transport. Medical transports are carried out from hospital to hospital on a bed-to-bed basis.
