Antigen test allows rapid, qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen in nasal swab samples, allows preliminary diagnosis of COVID-19. Antigen test is used because of its ability to provide a faster result than is the case with classical PCR testing (about 10-30 minutes vs. usually 24 hours)
